Plasterboard installation

Plasterboard applications give complete freedom of action for the implementation of any design ideas: arches, relief ceilings, interior walls. This material is also environmentally friendly, safe for health and has an affordable price.

Our company carries out the following activities:

Curves and arch from plasterboard;
Plasterboard ceilings with/without recessed lighting;
Cornices, baseboard, niches and drywall cabinets;

Types of drywall

Ordinary plasterboard are the simplest and cheapest boards that are used indoors, since they cannot withstand high humidity. There are gray and blue drywall.

Moisture resistant plasterboard have blue or green color. This type of plasterboard can be used at humidity levels between 70% and up to 90% and are usually installed in areas such as bathrooms, saunas, swimming pool areas. Because these drywall sheets contain anti-fungal and hydrophobic additives, they are more expensive than regular drywall.

Fire-resistant, glass fiber reinforced plasterboard are usually gray or red in color. Fire-resistant panels are used in areas where the risk of fire is high.

Preparation for installation of the drywall:

Before installing the plasterboard, we inspect the insulation coatings and walls in the room to assess the technical condition. We must be sure that the planned work will meet all construction standards. That is why we can only estimate the price accurately until we have been to the project location. We also check the temperature, humidity and ventilation of the room. 48 hours before the start of the work and 48 hours after the end, the temperature cannot fall below 15 degrees Celsius. The project space may need to be heated and this may incur additional costs. If the project space has high humidity, we provide extra good ventilation during the work.

Plasterboard ceilings

With the plasterboard work we can realize the most complex ideas about decoration. Such as, for example: the ceiling in different levels, relief elements on the ceiling, ceiling with built-in lighting. The plasterboard ceiling in combination with unusual lighting turns your house into a chic home!

Plasterboard arch

The interior design with arch changes your home beyond recognition without a difficult renovation. Arches, if placed properly, bring unique looks and will make your home space appear wider.

Partition walls

To re-arrange space, plasterboard partitions are used. The construction provides excellent sound insulation, quick and inexpensive wall installation with the possibility of laying electrical wiring inside. The partition walls can be plastered, decorated with wallpaper or painted.

  Parus Construction did a bunch of jobs for me all around the house: installing track rail lights, lamps, skirting boards, acoustic wood panels. They also did a great job creating a drywall niche, plastering it, hiding power cords inside.
