Laminate floors
Laminate flooring is one of the best flooring options: it is easy to install, can last for decades and fits perfectly into the decor of any interior. There are the variety of textures and color nuances: imitation of different types of wood, sand, granite, marble.
Advantages and disadvantages of laminate
The laminate plank is resistant to wear and vertical pressure. There are no traces of heavy furniture or moving furniture on wheels. The laminate floor can withstand heat, drafts and sudden cooling, but cannot tolerate a constant increase in humidity. After laying, the laminate floor does not require any additional finishing (sanding, grinding, painting) compared to the parquet planks. The Laminate flooring does not contain chemicals that are harmful to health, which means that such coatings are suitable for bedrooms and children's rooms. The prices for materials and laying laminate are much lower than, for example, for a parquet board. The laminate planks can be easily mounted on a rigid base, but the surface on which the laminate floor is laid must be stiff, durable and without surface differences (± 2 mm). When laying laminate flooring, the load intensity must be taken into account and the material must be chosen based on the wear resistance class.
The choice of substrate insulation is also important for the laminate floor. The laminate that is installed on a cement-sand screed floor without a substrate has a high risk of cracking when walking (due to the sand grains that remain under the planks). That is why it is important to make good material choices.
Parquet floor
Firstly, a wooden floor gives your home a warm appearance. In addition, wood is extremely durable and you can therefore enjoy a beautiful floor for years to come. Another advantage of parquet is that damage can easily be repaired by sanding and touching up.
A professional installation service has the right knowledge and experienced employees who can install parquet for you quickly and easily. This saves you time and you can be assured of a good end result. You can request a quote from us here without obligation.
PVC floor
A PVC floor is a wood-free floor and, thanks to current techniques, it is almost indistinguishable from a real wooden floor. The PVC floor is a lot stronger than laminate or vinyl floors. PVC floors are very sound-absorbing and are very suitable for underfloor heating.
Tile floors
Tiles are very durable, easy to maintain and suitable for underfloor heating. Floor tiles are hygienic compared to other types of floor coverings such as carpets.
